BAMSE wins two Svend Awards!

Danish film BAMSE has won the “Movie of the Year” award at the Svend Awards 2023.

In addition to this award, Anders W. Berthelsen won the prize for “Best Actor in a leading role” for his portrayal of the danish singer Flemming Bamse Jørgensen.

Anders W. Berthelsen won the ward for capturing the slightly understated tone of the popular singer “Bamse” in the touching tale of the ups and downs in the beloved musician’s life.

BAMSE is directed by Henrik Ruben Genz and the script is written by Bo Hr. Hansen. The film is produced by Nimbus Film, Uppercut Media og Ja Film by producers Bo Ehrhardt, Jan Frifelt and Lise Jørgensen.
