BAMSE wins 2 Robert award

Anders W. Berthelsen has won ‘Best Actor in a leading role’ 2023, for his portrayal of Flemming Bamse Jørgensen in Nimbus Films BAMSE.

Anders wins the award for capturing the slightly understated tone of the popular Bamse in the touching tale of the ups and downs in the beloved musician’s life. It got 6 stars in Berlingske, which has this to say about Anders W. Berthelsen’s performance: “It hits all the right notes and becomes a deeply moving story, brilliantly lifted by a softly underplaying Anders W. Berthelsen in the title role.”

Besides Anders W. Berthelsen himself, the film’s make-up artists Morten Jacobsen & Anita Anderson also won the ‘Make-up Artist of the Year’ award.

The film was directed by Henrik Ruben Genz and the script was written by Bo Hr. Hansen. Both are known for the films ‘ERNA AT WAR’ and ‘WORD OF GOD’.
