Asian remake to be made from bordercrossing crime success

Multinational murders are trendy. The time has now come for the Asians to have their own local edition of the Danish/Swedish ‘Broen / Bron / The Bridge’. The local production is to be made in the border region between Singapore and Malaysia and as the original it’s going to consist of a mix of both local languages, cultures and borders.

It’s the Pan-Asian streaming service Viu who in cooperation with the production company Endemol Shine oversee the remake that is expected to be shot in July with the ambition of being available for streaming later that year. The remake is one out several as ‘The Bridge’ already has been remade taking place between countries such as England and France, USA and Mexico, Germany and Austria – just to mention af few.
